I am no longer interested in shrinking.
In tiptoeing around my power
so others feel more comfortable.

There is a fire in me now
steady, sacred,
not reckless but real.

I am not bold because I’m fearless.
I am bold because I feel the fear
and still choose to rise.

I speak with clarity,
even when my voice is new.
I act with intention,
even when the path is unknown.

I trust the ground beneath me,
even when it quakes.

Bold doesn’t mean loud.
Bold means honest.
It means standing in my truth
when it would be easier to stay silent.

It means saying no.
It means saying yes.
It means showing up fully,
without apology,
without the need to fit a mould
I was never meant to wear.

I do not have to explain my fire.
I just have to let it burn true.

I don’t need to be liked by everyone.
I just need to be loyal to myself.

I am not here to disappear.
I am here to take up my rightful space
and to fill it with light, with presence,
with something utterly
bold.
