Durga is a Hindu Goddess and represents the fierce, protective form of the Divine Mother. Her name means “the invincible one” or “fortress.”

She embodies Shakti – the creative feminine energy of the universe – especially in her form as the warrior who destroys evil and restores balance.

She calls to the woman who wants to remember her strength AND fluidity.

For this piece, the blues were calling me - and what showed up was a combination of depth, spaciousness and beauty. You can sink into her for hours.
