Soft yet powerful, Rosaline explores the beauty of vulnerability and the strength found within it. A reclining female figure emerges through expressive charcoal-like lines, partially dissolving into layers of soft white, blush pink and earthy green.
There is a dreamlike quality to the piece — a feeling of being caught somewhere between rest and awakening. Delicate washes and fluid marks contrast with the rawness of the figure, creating a sense of movement, emotion and intimacy.
