Annapurna is a Hindu goddess who brings life back to the universe with abundant food. She infuses food with the transformative power of her compassion

She depicts a heart-shaped mother earth (Gaia) surrounded by many layers of deep blue space - showing how precious she and her children are.

This acrylic painting comes ready to hang. 48" x 48" unframed on deep edged wrapped professional grade canvas. Signed on the front.

100% of the proceeds* will go to support The Hunger Project UK who have taken a stand for a world without hunger.

Women and girls are often the last to eat and are the most vulnerable in communities facing hunger and poverty.

But when women are empowered, entire communities thrive. Through leadership development, sustainable farming techniques, and education, The Hunger Project are building a future where women and girls can break the cycle of poverty.

A donation of £25 could support a woman to take a 4 day leadership course. The course will empower her to become a leader in her community by providing comprehensive leadership training programs that enhance their skills, confidence, and ability to influence local decision-making processes.

In turn she will exercise her leadership to ensure improved access for her community to various rights, entitlements and government schemes including quality education, health services, food security, nutrition, water, sanitation, electricity, forest conservation, and safe and violence-free panchayats.

And as the women rise, so do their children.

For the next seven days any donation made to the Hunger Project will be matched, pound for pound, up to £10,000.

This means whoever claims this painting will be directly supporting around SIXTY women as all proceeds are donated (slightly more if she is collected rather than being shipped). Imagine the hundreds that will be impacted by these women.

And their children.
